Accessibility
O/S digital solutions aims to build digital offerings that as many people as possible can use easily and independently. We therefore consider digital accessibility in designing and developing this website and keep improving it.
This page voluntarily describes the current accessibility status of our website. It is not a statutory accessibility statement under the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) or BITV 2.0, and not a formal conformance certificate.
Our aim
In design and development we follow recognised standards for digital accessibility, in particular the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
WCAG define internationally recognised requirements for accessible digital content and applications. Level AA includes Level A requirements and further requirements including contrast, keyboard use, focus management, form interaction and perceptibility of content.
A full independent audit of all pages and features against every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion has not yet been carried out for this website. We therefore do not claim full WCAG conformance.
What we already consider
In technical and visual implementation we pay attention among other things to meaningful semantic structure, keyboard operability and visible focus states, labelled forms and controls, clear alternative text for relevant images, sufficient colour contrast, responsive and scalable content, and support for the system “reduce motion” setting.
Interactive areas such as navigation, dialogs and forms are built to work with keyboard and assistive technologies.
The homepage has a short intro animation for the headline. You can skip it at any time with Escape or by clicking beside the text. With “reduce motion” enabled, the final headline is shown without animation.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is not a one-off audit for us but part of how we evolve digital products.
Because websites, browsers and assistive technologies interact differently, barriers can still appear despite careful implementation. Interactive and animated areas in particular are reviewed and improved continuously.
New content and features should follow the same principles during development where possible.
Report a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this website or cannot use content or a feature, please let us know.
